Designing Agentic Multi-Hop Graphs
How we force our Agentic Creative Writing (ACW) and Agentic Rhythm Station (ARS) sub-agents to collaborate across creative graphs, constructing a 'Director Agent' mapped to halt hallucinated dialogue and off-beat lyrical progressions.

The Challenge of Creative Coherence
In generative workflows involving narrative and music, the primary failure mode is 'Decoupled Hallucination.' This occurs when an Agentic Creative Writing (ACW) generates a high-stakes scene, but the Agentic Rhythm Station (ARS) produces a score that is tonally dissonant. Without a common grounding layer, the creative output lacks the deterministic structure required for production-grade media.
Our solution was the implementation of Multi-Hop Creative Graphs, orchestrated by a centralized 'Director Agent' node.
The Director Agent Protocol
The Director Agent acts as a predictive router within a LangGraph topology. Before any creative generation begins, the Director maps the 'Neural Intent' of the scene.
- Scene Evaluation: ACW evaluates the emotional valence and pacing of the script.
- Rhythmic Synthesis: ARS synthesizes a tempo and key signature based on the ACW scene metadata.
- Cross-Validation: Both outputs are verified against a 'Tone Consistency' Pydantic model.
Multi-Hop Logic
Unlike standard linear pipelines, our creative swarms use multi-hop reasoning to refine output and suppress hallucinations.
- 1.First Hop (Drafting): ACW generates the dialogue while ARS generates a base melody.
- 2.Second Hop (Conflict Detection): A 'Critic Agent' identifies where the dialogue pacing and musical BPM are out of sync.
- 3.Third Hop (Remediation): The Director node forces a rewrite or a remap until delta-convergence is reached.
Eliminating Creative Drift
By forcing these agents into a rigid graph-based collaboration, we've reduced hallucinated dialogue loops by 80% and ensured that lyrical progressions are mathematically aligned with the underlying orchestration. This represents the first step toward true 'Agentic Production' where AI isn't just a tool, but a collaborative studio environment.
